 Poetry can make you smile
Poetry can  make you frown
Poetry makes you feel like a winner wearing a king’s crown
Poetry has rhythm,
Poetry can even rhyme,
Poetry is fun to read and create at anytime
Poetry is like rain falling from the sky,
it can also feel like a hot, freshly-baked apple pie
Poetry can be big or small
when you read poetry you will seem to fall
and when you read poetry you have to read it all
Poetry tastes like a grape
Bitter on the outside
Sweet on the inside
When you write a poem you will have great pride
