All About the World

All About the World

By Noe Jaimes Jr.

I can see the shiny sun
like a diamond. I feel
like taking
a cold shower outside
like a dog.
When I played soccer the
ball looks like a bullet
when I kick it.

I can hear people
mowing their yards
I can hear dogs
barking as if they
were in a talent show.

I can smell cookouts all over
the place on Saturdays.
Sometimes I can
hear some 4-wheelers driving
in the street at night, and I
can smell the mud they have in
the tires, the tries that feel
like a bumpy street.
