All-American Farmer

All-American Farmer

By: Derrion Long

He gets up before the sun, and packs a lunch for the day.

He gets on the tractor and drives around the farm.

It’s just another day in the sun,

but he doesn’t mind. He’s been doing it for a long time.

He starts the day by hauling hay in his old truck,

then he drives the tractor, and pulls a plow.

He feeds the cows and checks the crops.

He doesn’t take no breaks he just takes the tractor out and drives it another round. He doesn’t quit ’til the job gets done.

He loves his country a lot that’s why he has the red, white, and blue flyin’ high when he drives the tractor.

He has the heart of an All American Farmer.
