All Gone

By: Eric Calle

They’re all gone.
Said to never find
They weren’t all kind.
Although we all got along
We spoke with our own tongue
We stood together you could tell us apart
We weren’t the best but we all had a heart.
We stayed out late
We had it as our fate.
We all tumbled in the dirt

We never got hurt.
We had a plain

We ruined it whenever it rained.
We had bags inside our pants
Without receipts
Never ours to take
It didn’t matter
Never were we fake.
At the end of the day they are all gone.
As is there was never a bond.
