American Dream

American Dream

By Anonymous

He works 12 hours a day

He barely sees his kids

He works overtime shift

He barely gets sleep

His wife only sees him at night

Only he can handle himself

His back is as sore as a grandpa

And yet never complains about it

It’s like a cycle everyday

It never reaching its stopping point

It’s like living nightmare

It never reaches its limits

From when he ran through the desert

From when he jumped a 10 foot fence

From when he had children

To this day the future is in his hands
