As I Wake Up

As I wake up this morning I see

people of different races going to

places that I don’t go. People may

say bad things about me but

they never hurt me. I may go to

church when other people don’t. I celebrate

holidays that I laugh and have fun at.

When other people are laughing outside

my door. This is my family this is

my culture. I may go to church and

celebrate most holidays. I am not

only American I am more than that.

My culture is different but I am the same.
