Band Is My Home

People say home is where the heart is

my heart is on band

so you could say band is my home

It’s a place filled with friends

who feel more like siblings than friends

A place where everyone lends a helping hand

and the fun will never end

I breathe, sweat, and think about band constantly

My heart beats to the rhythm of the drums

My head is filled with melodies played

My feet walk in step to the beat of the music

People say home is where the heart is

Band  is in my heart

and my heart is on band

Band will forever be my home
