Calm ʻĀina

Calm  ʻĀina

by Kaycee Oandasan

 No chatter on the
beach

Nobody on the
shore

Only people catching
waves

As if the waves were parties
themselves

There are no clouds blocking the
sun

There are no rocks just sand
EVERYWHERE

There is only the
sun

Beaming onto the
beach

Lighting up the beautiful
ʻĀina
