Coming Home

Coming Home

By Acacia Simon

I know she wants to and if

She could she would

She was a shaker ‘cause all of her poppin’.

She has come back but in a different state of mind.

When she finally does it will be too late.

My arms won’t be as welcoming as before

The times have changed

She has changed

I have changed

She told me she would come back if she could

She doesn’t like the

Bars

The sandwiches for

Breakfast

Lunch

And dinner

She doesn’t like the

White jumpsuits

The short hair

She’s the type of person that likes to express herself

She has a while ‘till she’s able to do so

Well back to da point

I miss her like crazy

I’m like a person in a

Straight Jacket

My hands tremble when I’m near her

Not ‘cause I’m scared it’s because I’m happy

When I leave I start flowing like

Niagara Falls

Then a year goes by the flood gates

Open again

I know she wants to

And if she could she would

Come

Back
