Concrete Jungle

In the jungle
You may dare to go in without fear
You can hear the screams of monkeys
But in the end you will be scared
The violent roars of the lions that roam
Can not be stopped because the jungle is like a dome

The trees can hear just like the innocent people
Filled with fear, you will want to run but that is not an option
You must stay, because there is nowhere else to go
You might even say “this is a dream”
But in the end you’ll still hear the screams

The jungle will not sympathize with your fears
Just like the violence in the streets that we hear.
