Disney Wonderland

Disney Wonderland

by Catera Travis

Florida breeze all year round

Sunny skies no raining down drops

Sweet smells and giddy children

Churros make my stomach growl

Cinnamon and sugar tastes good inside

Up high with Mickey Mouse touches the sky with my fingertips

I jerk down my heart drops to stomach as I  scream

Knees wobbly I smell something salty

Yummy Boston Market with that southern taste

Fried chicken and mashed potatoes

A blur of pink and orange catches my eye

Pom pom trees spread out on the land

Seaworld slippery and slimy

I cover my eyes from the splash

Fish jump undead for a dolphin to catch

I close my eyes now I’m floating

Shrek runs and jumps out the screen

Head droops as the car hums

My eyes open we’re back home

Runs and falls down

My body needs rest

Hakuna Matata for now friends
