Don’t Steal Them

Don’t Steal Them

By Carlos Duran

I wore my Jordans

They were

My

Favorites

Every one complimented

Me when I

Wore

Them

They had white, orange

And yellow

They look like a

Melting marsh

Mellow.

That day at

The rec center this

Kid Rueben he

Hated them

Because I got

So many compliments

He saw me put them

In my back

Pack

He took off

With them

I chased him

But he was

Too fast

I

Knew he would

Steal

I bet he sold them

For

A

Meal

He was broke, poor, and

Homeless, so the next

Time I seen him

I told him karma would

Come back

So everyone

Didn’t talk

To him when

I told everyone

What he did

He looked stupid

Cause they

Didn’t fit

He gave them

Back but

We never spoke

After I said is this a joke?
