Football Experience

Football Experience

by Daniel Misquez

The leather on my hands  switching side to side
Protecting the ball as if it were a baby in danger
The hits I take, but still get up and keep moving forward
The speed I have that out runs other players
The NOT ever giving up attitude every game

The whistle yelling to stop
The whistle blowing for the end of half time
The coach’s speech motivating us
Coming out the locker room motivated
The wind blowing giving us chills
The cleats on the ground lifting dirt
The yellow flag thrown across the field
like the sun rotating around earth

The warm ups before every game
The first and last play are the best play of every game
The sweat falling from your face if it were a water fall
The crowd screaming and shouting
The cuts, bruises, grass stain after every game.
