Where I come from is not a good place. But it’s also not a bad place.

It smelt like burnt rubber all in Gary. You can hear the gunshots coming from the all around Gary. I feel that people can make it better but they don’t care.

Gary is the place where most people don’t make it. They are either selling dope and getting caught or in gang violence and dying or going to jail.

But, the good thing of growing up in Gary is that you are very blessed. Especially being successful coming from there. I grew up in a struggle. I’m telling you bad things happen in Gary, but just imagine growing up in a struggle and becoming successful. I bet it will be the best feeling ever. And that’s what I’m working to. Being successful.
