Hatred in the Mist

Hatred in the Mist

by: Miyoko Hulum

You once were young and wise

You watched me with throught all of your eyes

You cared for me and sheltered me from harm

You had a kind heart once

‘Til you turned your back away

You didn’t even let me explain

The pain, hurt, and sadness

I was facing

I tried my best cover

But it always got rediscovered

I tried my best to hide

But it always was untied

The fear is what I always hear

You shot an arrow straight through my heart

Falling to the ground like a bird first time of flying

Watchin’ as the sky turning from blue to black

You killed me And turned a pure heart

to a bad one

I couldn’t form the words to say–

I love you

You killed me with your pain a n d

suffering

You killed me.
