Him And Her

HIM and HER

By:Kaelin Begay

I have his eyes and his smile,

But I wish I didn’t have his handwriting.

I don’t know why I have most of his

appearances and not her appearances.

Everyone says I look like him and not her

by saying “you smile like him” and

“you have his eyes”. But when I look in the mirror, I think

I don’t look anything like him.

And all that I have of her is her hair appearance,

 her eyesight, and her height.

I love them both for what they do for me,

even if they annoy me, and humiliate me by saying

my nickname if front of my friends. But,

I wouldn’t trade him or her for anything.

And I am thankful for having them

in my life and for always supporting me

in sports and in everything I do,

and having time to support me.
