By Karmella Ramahn

I was too young, clueless

I hadn’t seen my dad in nine years

No cards! No calls! No presents!

He was self-serving

My sister ,Goddess, threw

Everything away for us

My mom relented

kissed me good-bye

Things will never be the same, I thought

But now I’ve found A place called home

Because of my

        Sister

         Uncle

There’s a place

I can call

         Home
