I Am Mexican American

I Am Mexican American
By Alondra Vazquez
Pioneer Charter School
I am weird and funny like a clown in the circus
I am from Mexico and the United State
I am Mexican and I like it
I am from the United states and I love it
I am in America with those tamales in my hand dreaming I was in Mexico mi rancho
I am a working person like my Dad
I appreciate my parents for all the things that they give me

I am from an honest mother and a hard working father who made me a responsible child
I am Catholic, like my family
I am from Denver, Colorado and Mexico and I am from tamales and posole
I am from Aguascalientes from the quinceaneras dancing like if no one is looking
I am from Denver, but my personality is Mexican
I am from from the clean rooms in my little home
I am from my mother and and father that love me so much
I am from the church were I pray
I am from Pioneer all my life to do good in my future.
