I Can Only Relax In One Class

by: Katherine  Valdez

I can only relax

In one class

Every weekday,

I see you

Smile bright as the sun

You always knew

Where to press

Where others

Tend to miss

You bring me happiness

Yet fill me with loneliness

why must you be kind

when you aren’t mine

First period comes

My world turns gray

it brings the worst

Rainbows of red, orange, yellow

turns to black, gray and blue

Yet it’s peaceful

theres no pounding

My greed

Is Freed

I can only relax

In that class
