I lived

Hospital:
Born on May 9th
The day of life I was born
You can call that my house, for now
So many people surrounding me, I felt I was famous, they were like the paparazzi surrounding me
Plus I made new friends, the nurses

Adoption Center

I grew up there too
Well a little bit, the place
It looked dark and cold just like a jail cell
Our own little room, no visitors
Left and right everyone was sent home like a gift for Christmas, yet I was the toy that no one liked
When I was one years old, I was free

Pennsauken:

Its like the next chapter in my life like you turn a page into a book
I was surrounded by my family, my ex-family but.. still family I guess.
Yet, till this day, I still don’t know them
when my family is around me, we are like wild animals.
I am that wild animal, that is in my blood.

Camden:

I’m 13, going on 14
I live here now
This..for… now
My home… the home
I belonged at the beginning
I… call myself free
