I’m a Navajo

I’m a Dine, but even though I don’t act like a Navajo…

But on the inside of me there is a true blood of Dine girl!!

Even though I don’t dress like a Navajo with lots of jewelry on me than that is the way I am.

Dine lives in as hogan!

My parents and grandparents live in hogans where we face to the always,

But I don’t live in a hogan although I live in a white man house.

My grandmother was a prayer women that help heal people,

But the people I know care about us and others,

People are forever in a Navajo prays and this is who I am….
