Kawaihae

Hawaiian Homes, Kawaihae

It all starts as you go up the red hill at the intersection at Akoni Pule Highway and Kalo’olo’o Drive.

The Pacific Ocean is virtually my front yard.

The fragrance of the salty mist is always lingering in all of the homes.

It’s always a thrill hearing the Humpback Whales singing their songs in the Winter times.

All day the fury of the Sun is beating down on you. If you ask me I’m always begging for mercy.

In the end, the u’iful colors of the sundown will always top your day on a marvelous note.
