KJ’S Mom: Love and Respect

KJ’s Mom: Love and Respect

by Korey Ellis

My mom was dancing up and down the steps without a care in the world

Still showing she will always keep her word

She saw me saying sorry to someone

Instantly put a smile on her face tickling my feet as she tied my shoe lace

When i was a baby instead of saying alexis i said lettuce

She knew my fate

I would sit in a big chair readin a newspaper upside down

She would laugh so hard she would grow a six pack

She was there through some of it

People say she doesn’t care do anything for me

I know she cares and loves me and I love her

MY MOM
