Life Isn’t Fair

Life Isn’t Fair

By: Elizabeth Perry

Life isn’t fair
We all know this

The Earth shifts under our feet
The wind blows all around

Hate and greed,
try to break us

But at last,
we continue on

Like a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day
Hope still shines through the grey

Life isn’t always fair
But it’s not all bad either
