Lightning Colors

Lightning Colors

by: Shantavia Strickland

Walking down the beautiful pathway

I see flashing colors

not just any colors

colors of my magnificent town

Sniff, Sniff

as I smell the tall, sweet roses

standing in the garden

onetwothreefourfive

dozens of people standing everywhere

white horses

black horses

showing the way

SplashSplash

take a dip or maybe watch a basketball game

walk down the trail of the Mississippi River

let your feet hang into the warm wavy water

sit down

enjoy your food at a restaurant

lay your head on a pillow

at one of the hotels

oh, what a sight!

Enjoy the view

Oh, enjoy the view!
