Lilac like a lily on a lovely summer day
Always very lively in so many ways

Lilac the annoying and adorable child

” No I don’t want to!” is all I hear you say
Even though in our culture we girls do almost everything

Lilac
Your cries I see
Your laughs I hear

As we dance around
in our Hmong dresses
the sound of the
coins and beads
clanking together

Lilac my little sister.
