ME
ME
By Milly Salazar
From the experiences and the culture I am unique.
I am me.
I am special like a one of a kind snowflake.
From my skin to my enormous family, I know I’m
different, but I embrace that the most because
I know I am no stereotype.
Sure I might not be full American or Mexican,
but my skin does not speak for my voice.
My physical appearance can’t tell all, while my voice
can change, and my awkward jokes not so much.
I know I am a small girl that loves
running, school, and eating posole for that is
not all enjoy.
I want the world to see my potential, because
once I’m gone they will miss what I
have to show.
When the snowflake melts no other is
exactly like is so there is no one exactly
like me.
