Grandparents You wouldn't be here without them For those who don't know what I'm talking…
More than just a mom
More than just a mom
Beep Beep it wakes her every morning at 5:00 am
To make breakfast for a man she wishes to change his ways
When he leaves she cares for her kids
She’s more than just a mom
Rushing to school like the wind of a tornado to get her kids to school on time
Waiting for her at home a storm of a mess
Reminds her of her childhood which she hates being reminded of
Ring Ring her phone goes, something is wrong
She’s more than just a mom
She arrives to the school worried
Her child lying there with a fever feeling hotter than boiling water
Arriving home she prepares the steaming hot soup
She´s more than just a mom
Hours pass by when it’s time to pick up her kids
Coming home there is no resting
She feels as if it’s a never ending street she walks down
She´s more than just a mom
Dropping her daughter off at practice with a smile on her face
Picking her up late as the night says goodnight
The day ends she lays her children down to sleep
She finally closes her eyes waiting for the next day start over again
She´s more than just a mom
