Life is complex and confusing

Like a puzzle of infinite pieces

No instruction manual for me to use

Only members of what we call family

My family is a mix of ethnicities

A plate of Portuguese Hawaiian and a dash of Chinese

Yah that makes up me

Proud I am

My family cares

My family is a team

Even when it gets extreme

My family pulls through like a storm in the ocean

This is my family
