My family is different.
My family is different
Because it’s not like other peoples’ families.
We eat tacos, carne asada, mole.
People think it is very important to take care of yourself
But we don’t really think that way.

We are Mexicans.
We came from Mexico.

A lot of people think we just came to rob banks and stores.
But not really.
We came to get better jobs,
Have a better live.

Because at Mexico,
People kidnap you
Or even kill you.

We are proud to be Mexicans
Even though people judge us.
