I think about it night and day.
It’s all I wanna play.
It’s more then a sport
More like a passion.
The red dirt and the
bruises are in fashion
the wind up
the pitch
the scrambling defense,
is what softball is about.
The screaming parents
in the stands. The
anxious coaches waving their hands.
This is softball.
And I love the game.
