My Wonderful Place

My Wonderful Place

By: Kylee Kamalii

Behind the white, pointed fence of my house, is a green fresh smelling forest.

Ahead is an opening grass trail leading further in.

The forest leaves, against my face, feeling as soft as a pillow, warming my pale skin

I hear water crashing against rocks. I follow the sound and see a pond.

This pond is small and has pink soft flowers floating at the top. I put my hand into the water.

The water, cool as ice

Nearby is an old, wooden bench, facing right towards the pond

I walk slowly, dragging my feet while I walk, as I sit down, relaxing my tense muscles, I hear birds chirping ever so graceful

No one in the world could know about my wonderful place
