Never To Be Seen

By: E’mani Thomas

The silent drop dripped from her cheek
Would make a young girl wonder.
Walking down the dark windy, alley. Waiting for your presence.
Often, thinking that I will never see you again.
A young girl full of wonder. There was no place to run to. Mom, had to work every single miserable day.
In a dark place I went into every second as a silent drop fell upon my face.
A young girl full of wonder.
I often ran away from my problems thinking day and day nobody will ever be here with me.
Where you at? Where are the sweet little walks, and I thought I was suppose to be your princess but you left you left me in the deep, silent castle with no words of comfort.
You left me in the puzzle wondering when will you be able to put the pieces back together.
Click! Click! Opened the rusty door full of lonely but mourningful secrets and untold problems.
Sitting at the table seeing your face wishing I could touch your hand just one touch is all I ask.
But if I do the longer I can’t touch, or see you. The silent drop dripped from her cheek. Would make a young girl wonder.
When will I see you again? Before the doors shut full of evil.
