Night on the Beach

Night On the Beach

by: Kaylee Gaoiran

On a very windy night

The stars were shining bright

The big waves crashed on the shore

Sitting by the campfire eating a roasted s’more

I’m on the top of the peak

Of the rocks of Waimea Beach

I hear strong winds blowing away

As the leaves of a palm tree begin to sway.

While watching footprints wash away.

Everyone has a goal they want to reach

But somehow I think life’s the beach.
