North Shore

North Shore

By: Angelica Joven

North Shore, North Shore

a beautiful place that I adore

on the way there

the fragrant breezes

swarm through my window

bright yellow pineapples

sticking out the thorny bush

the beach is filled with tons of seaglass

some are smooth, some are sharp

some are rough, but all are hard

I smell the garlic from the shrimp truck

the line is long, I will need some good luck!

Matsumotos is very loud

they sell their shaved ice big and proud

I see the sun is going down

the sky is turning very pink

it looks like a grapefruit spilled it’s ink
