Overcoming Pain
Overcoming sadness
Crying, eyes getting red
Tears falling
Never getting past it

Can’t fight
Trying to pretend
A cheesy smile
But eyes tell the truth

I feel like ice
Is flowing inside
Your heart is frozen
Cold stuck inside

But you can feel it
In your heart
You want to tell someone
You will let all of those
Pieces of ice melting tears falling

Down you face
Letting people know
Your pain and sadness
Felling better like
Someone is protecting
