Poetry is the wall that separates me from the cold dark world that never guarantees safety or harmless acts of controversy

poetry is the light that shines down on a weary and dark day that can make you say “hey light are you going to stay or are you going to leave me like everyone else”

poetry is my lifesaver when I’m on the verge of dying sitting,waiting to take my last breathe  but when I pick up a pen it gives me hope and courage to live again.
