Poetry is like a burnt cookie in the oven,

It is homework,

Poetry is the vegetable your mom forces you to eat.

Poetry is when you pour cereal and not have any milk,

It is running out of ink right when you come up with an idea,

Poetry is going to the bathroom and not having any toilet paper in the house.

Poetry is when someone eats the food you were saving,

It is when you walk into a room and forget what you were doing.

Poetry is not fun,

It is the joy of some people,

But the hate of others.
