Like a healthy bird in a nest.

 

Poetry is a story of inspiration

Like a daisy blooming in concrete rather than a bright garden.

 

Poetry is a story of hope.

Like a dog spitting out what he choked.

 

Poetry is a story of feeling.

 

Poetry is a story of change.

Like from being divided into being equal.

 

Poetry is a story of help.

Like helping a fish out of kelp

 

Poetry is a story of courage.

Like going on a dangerous voyage.
