It is like putting Carmex on crusty lip when you really need it

Poetry is sadness too

It is like someone who walks up to you and just punches you in the face for no reason at all

Poetry can also be confusing

It is like when your mom walks up to you and smacks you and you say “what did I do”

Poetry is also surprising

It is like turning around and getting hit in the face with a football
