Poetry is what Poetry is to Me

Poetry, is kids on a playground playing to me.

Poetry, to me , the light in my day;

The moon in my night.

Poetry, to me, is walking in the sand that’s heated by sunlight that makes your feet feel so cozy at the beach.

Poetry, to me, is like riding a bike, feel the wind soothe you as it goes though the long strands of the hair on my scalp.

Poetry, to me, is a day with your friends having fun and making jokes and smiley faces.

Poetry, to me, is on the roof of your house looking at the dark and beautiful sky filled with stars and planets of the Milky Way Galaxy.

Poetry, to me, is life
