Sister Love

Sister Love

By: Javonte Thomas

“I am not drunk” she says,

“I am just… leave me alone,

alone.”

Then she hits me with a shoe.

Then we start arguing.

I know she loves me.

Then we start fighting.

Then she grabs a knife.

I tell they neighbors.

They said it’s just sister love.

I know she loves me.

I say

That’s not sister love.

When’s shes not drunken

she gives me candy and gifts.

I know she loves me.

When she’s drunk

She’s totally pissed. She

tries to mess me up.

I know she loves me.

But now she’s not getting drunk no more.

She’s back to giving me candy and treats.

That’s the way I like it.

I know she loves me.
