Special-Needs

We see special-needs kids everyday
But don’t pay attention to them.
We act as if they’re invisible.
They pass by without us noticing them like, a bug on the floor.

We may see them at work,
School,
or at the grocery store.

No one ever thinks to notice what they think,
or how they feel.
These kids get called stupid,
Retard,
or mental, on a daily basis.
We don’t know what they go through,
Until we are put in their shoes.

They could be as sad as a lost dog
Who can’t find their way back home.
Because inside
They know that they’re diffrent,
From other people.
