Storm

Storm
By:  Anonymous

Sweat dripping down smooth skin

Room beginning to spin

like a Farris-wheel on hydride

As the storm approaches

Shouts coming from it

Like lightning raining on earth

The thunder being anesthesia to the ears

The storm raging on

Yet impossible to comprehend

The mind trying to escape

The body trying to withstand

Till the storm dies down

But the ears still ring after the gun shot

The thunder comes after the lightning

The room stop spinning

But not the mind

The heart is still racing

No time to stop

Time to rebuild the land

Before the next storm comes along
