Fireflies danced in the sky
Merging with the starlight

Below the glowing night
A fire burned bright as a red rose
Reflecting in amber eyes

And through the trees
A lake sparkled with moonlight diamonds
The night’s tears

And there under the nearby bridge
Where lily pads rested
Eyes closed
Smiles rose
