The Beach

The Beach

by Brittney Elvenia

Big turquoise waves crash the smooth sandy ground

and lots of colorfull, bright seashells uncover from the calm, peacefull ocean.

Hyper teenagers lay on their towels to get the golden tan,

while little kids run to the manapua man.

The yellow sun feels hot like red lava

and it shines bright in my brown eyes.

Vicious hermit crabs try to get a victim

but instead they get cooked for dinner,

and most humans think they’re a dime a dozen.

Tall palm trees dance through the cool wind,

hungry families cook barbique in the nice shade

and little kids thought “it’s taking forever to cook!”

The smell traveled all around and starts to make people drool.
