Poetry is the thing that keeps the world

Poetry is the color wheel of emotions

Poetry helps when we are heartbroken

Poetry helps when we are joyous

Poetry helps when we’re furious

Poetry can help with any emotion

Poetry is the cure

The healer that nurses us from

The stab wounds and words like gashes

No one can deny a poet

Poetry is how you see it

And no other way

It is the speaker that brings us together like a flock of birds

Poetry is the will power

The will that keeps us going.
