The Game of Lacrosse
Once on the field it was a whole new world,
The ball was flyin and the sticks were risin,
Once the ball was thrown it was a perfect whirl,
But once a goal was scored you felt like dyin,
The faceoff was a blast,
The defense was hard as stone,
The game always lasts,
But we always needed to hone,
The offense was like wind,
The goals our objective,
But we always needed to win,
Then in the end we always needed subjective,
This is the game of lacrosse,
and the community that plays with us.
