The Girl
The Girl
By: Greyson Huneycutt
There is a girl
Who wears a bright smile
She talks and talks
About nothing for hours
Letting people believe her life
Is worth living for
But what we don’t know
Is how she acts behind closed doors

Is when she starts to think
And it is as though she will never
Fall asleep
She acts so fine in her show
But she is so broken when all alone
Cries for hours in her room
Hoping no one can hear the cries that bloom
So before you think
She has it all
Make sure you know how she acts
Behind closed walls
