The lonely girl
by: BM
Sitting in the dark room wondering
when someone is going to rescue her.
tears rolling down her face while tears after tears
drop to the ground. Looking outside the
Dull window while the world is filled with despair.
People walking sadly on the side walk like
zombies with no life trying to find a new one
While in her head she wonders what
she did wrong for him to leave her alone.
wondering why she cried every night
why she sat alone waiting for him to text
“I’m sorry”
in her head she thought she was fine
thought she didn’t care for him
thought she had it together, but in reality she
was a sad girl with a broken heart
that couldn’t be repaired. Where did she go wrong.

new, or was it because he wanted to be done
and move on. Sitting in the dark
room got her to thinking “was I ever good enough”
did she deserve someone so special.
in her mind she was done but in her heart she was
still attached. It was time to let
go of the past and begin with the future. The past

Put a smile on her face. She watches as the world grew
fond of happiness Azande more opportunities
to risk
